Pickleball

Beginner Pickleball
This is for players who have never played before or have just played a few times. You will learn the basic fundamentals of Pickleball: Game Overview, How to “Dink”, Basic Court Skills, Basic Shot Techniques, How To Keep Score, Serving & Returning The Ball. You’ll put that all into action and play real games in the last session. The 101 is the first Clinic of a series of Clinics. We will next offer Clinic 102 and 103 so you can progress in your game. Note: Important to attend all 4 sessions, skills build weekly and there are NO make up classes. Learn and connect as a group and build community around this exciting and fun sport! All equipment provided, including paddles and balls.

Intermediate Pickleball Classes
These classes will dig deeper into the concepts you have earned in and further advance your consistency and strategy of the game. Things we will cover are, Advanced Drop Shots, Advanced Volleying, Resetting the Ball and Putaways and defending them. Note: Important to attend all 4 sessions, skills build weekly and there are NO make up classes. Learn and connect as a group and build community around this exciting and fun sport! All equipment provided, including paddles and balls. *Prerequisite: Intermediate Pickleball 201.

Social Pickleball Round Robin Tournaments!

Come join us for a Social Round Robin Tournament in The Town of Ross!
Every First Sunday of the Month, Starting on April 7th
Located at: Town of Ross Pickleball Courts
Park anywhere near the Ross Post Office then walk right on the walking path along the creek for 5 min and that will take you to the courts.

Random partners and random opponents each game.
Your score is recorded after 10 min of play, no matter what the score is, or first to 11pts, win by 2pts. Top 3 Players with the highest individual score will win Prizes!

Sign-ups close the day before the tournament or until it’s full.
We will have 4 courts and 18 people max for each time slot.
Rain Policy: The Tournament will be held the following week, same time.

9:30am – 11:30am for 2.0/2.5 Level Players

12:00pm – 2:00pm for 3.0 plus Level Players

Cost: $40pp

Dates: 4/7, 5/5, 6/2, 7/7, 8/4, 9/1, 10/6, 11/3, 12/1

Registration Info

Our registration database is tracking all unpaid sign ups. You have 48 hours to pay for any pending registrations or they will be AUTOMATICALLY DELETED by our system. We cannot hold a spot for you in a program if the registration deletes.

Please be sure to pay upon registration to secure your spot in the programs you have selected.

About Ross Rec

Ross Recreation is a Department of the Town of Ross. It was formed in 1972 to provide recreational enrichment and community service for the residents of Ross and their neighbors. The department has grown from just a handful of classes to more than 100 classes per year for infants to Seniors.
